The WHA Girls program is now entering its tenth season of providing girls-only teams. Over the years, the WHA girls' teams have established a tradition of hockey accomplishments in their regular season, in the AHAI State Playoffs and in local and out of town tournaments.
For 2010-11 girl's teams for each division - U12, and U14 - will compete in the NIHL Girls Gold Division. NIHL's goal is to be the destination for Tier-II/"AA" girls of all the girls teams in Illinois, southern Wisconsin and northern Indiana. With four successful years of competition, it is our belief that NIHL provide girls hockey at a higher level of structure and organization than has existed in the past.
